The Division of Federal Employees Compensation covers all federal and postal workers. There are 12 District Offices and 1 National Office. NJ is in District 2 with NY, PR and USVI. PA is in District 3 with DE, WV, and MD when zip begins with 21***.
The Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation provides lump-sum compensation and health benefits to eligible Department of Energy nuclear weapons workers (including employees, former employees, contractors and subcontractors) and lump-sum compensation to certain survivors if the worker is deceased. The Division of Longshoremen and Harbor Workers’ Compensation provide benefits for most waterfront workers. The Division of Coal Mine Workers’ Compensation administers the Black Lung program. If you are a Federal employee injured in the course of your employment, you should contact an attorney who handles these claims regularly.
