I recently wrote to advise our readers of some disturbing news with regard to the safety of certain Electric vehicles.  The Chevrolet Volt in particular.  As you may or may not be aware, recent crash tests have suggested the vehicles have a tendency to catch fire shortly after certain types of collisions.  While data on the testing is presently scarce, the Associated Press reported yesterday that GM’s CEO has now offered by buy back these vehicles if owners are concerned by the risks of fires.
